Psilocybe cyanescens, commonly known as the wavy cap, is one of the most widely distributed naturally occuring psilocybin mushrooms, native to both North America and Europe. These caps of these mushrooms have a distinct wavy margin (edge), and they are known as one of the more potent members of the psilocybe genus.
The name is especially apt as the compounds which these mushrooms produce in high concentration will often produce a waviness in both vision and overall cognition. Ps. cyanensces found in nature have an average tryptamine content between 0.66 and 1.96%. By comparison, the average psilocybe cubensis mushroom found in nature contains between 0.6 and 0.8% tryptamine content (some of our cubensis varieties have tested over 2%).
The experience from Wavy Caps has been described as visual, euphoric, introspective, and uplifting. Our testers rated them as moderate potency -- somewhat on par with our psilocybe cubensis. This goes to show the refinement which has gone into our cubensis, as in nature the psilocybe cyanescen is significantly more potent.

Mild Experience: 1 grams to 1.5 grams
Medium Experience: 1.5 grams to 2.5 grams
Full Experience: 2.5 grams to 3.5 grams
We also recommend that you do not mix our products with alcohol, as it dulls the experience.
We recommend starting at the medium experience level, if you have not tried them before, as the visuals can be quite intense and harder to handle for inexperienced users. Set and setting are extremely important for a positive experience. We also highly encourage people to have a guide or sitter if they are new to psychedelics.
